Nashville has made waves in the realm of beer drinkers, mainly because we’re pretty great at making it ourselves. Say buh-bye to all those cans and glass bottles shipped in from who knows where, and let’s take a look at what hits REAL close to home. Here are some of the best breweries in Nashville.
8. Czann's Brewing Company
Czann's does it well and they do it right the first time, a Nashville based brewery that prides themselves on "masterfully designed beer."
7. Blackstone Brewing Company
Serving "upscale pub food" and brewing their beer on the property is enough to get us here on game day, but keep us through the week.
6. Tennessee Brew Works
This downtown gem exudes cool and serves a solid brew. The patio is great for the summer, plus all the live music?! We're in.
5. Little Harpeth Brewing
This local spot may not be wildly well-known, but their product is solid and we'd like them to be WAY more popular than they are. Plus, they're named after our favorite river.
4. The Black Abbey Brewing Company
Located on Sidco Drive, Black Abbey gives a solid nod to the past with an old-fashioned vibe and decor that calmly exudes the feel of a historic monastery.
3. Jackalope Brewing Company
With year 'round offerings and seasonal brews, Jackalope has made a mark on the community with its cult following and the hipster pledge of undying love.
2. Yazoo Brewing Company
This neat taproom and brewery is located in the gulch and offers tours twice a week, proffering a solid product AND educational options. We're a fan of that.
1. Fat Bottom Brewing
This local favorite has an awesome storefront in East Nashville and boasts some of the best locally made brew in the city. We deem it number one, and would visit their fantastic beer garden any day.
