Neighboring Foster is the town of Glocester. Though the population is almost double that of Foster at just under 10,000, the small town feel remains with gorgeous sprawling farmland scattered across the region.
Charlestown is a beautiful town found in Washington County along the Atlantic Ocean. Fantastic parks and recreational areas, such as Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge, can be enjoyed here.

With its population of under 9,000 and beautiful parks and rural communities, Hopkinton is a truly peaceful place to be in Rhode Island.

Charming independent vineyards, a historic lighthouse, and adorable town commons make Little Compton a fantastic small town with relaxing attractions. Sakonnet Point is an especially peaceful place to explore offering wonderful scenic views.
8. West Greenwich
This Rhode Island town is found in Kent County and possesses a population of under 7,000. It is filled with fantastic lakes and streams, hiking trails, and other natural attractions.
Scituate, which is most known for its fantastic annual arts festival, is as relaxing as it gets. This charming town is a gorgeous place to go for a long rural drive and is home to a breathtaking reservoir.
Found in Bristol County, the small town of Warren offers fantastic historic architecture and a classic small town New England feel. The Waterfront Historic District should definitely not be missed and offers charming shops and small restaurants.
