Before long, he is headed back to the North Pole with his reindeer, and the passengers back to the station after a 1 1/2 hour journey.
To make this magical trip, booking tickets in advance is a must. The train departs on weekends through Christmas, as well as daily beginning December 14 through 23. There are several trips daily and passengers are invited to wear their pajamas on the journey. Tickets range from $31 to $77 based on class of ticket. Mt Hood Railroad is located at 110 Railroad Street, Hood River, Oregon.
