This Shop In New Hampshire Sells Alcoholic Ice Cream And You Have To Try It

On a hot summer day, there's not much that's more refreshing than a big scoop of ice cream, or a cold beer. But how to choose between the two? Luckily enough, you don't have to anymore! Alcoholic ice cream made from beer is here for you, and it's just as amazing as it sounds.

Barley & Hops in Milford is a fantastic shop to visit for craft beer and fine wine. They have an extensive selection of New Hampshire brews (and weekly beer tastings)!

The shop is also home to the Dessert Bar, which features founder Chris Perry's passion project, Chris's Wicked Ice Cream.

After years of making both ice cream and beer, Perry decided to combine the two. He started with an IPA sorbet and a Porter ice cream, and now has a number of delicious flavors.

Who could resist the Paradigm Brown Ale ice cream with caramel and brownie, or a seasonal pumpkin ice cream made with pumpkin beer?

Perry has partnered with New Hampshire's Kelsen Brewing Company, which provides the beer used to make these delicious treats.

At the dessert bar, you can get sundaes, scoops, and more - as long as you're over 21. The ice cream is about 1-2% ABV depending on the type.

You'll also want to buy some pints to take home! Lucky for you, if you aren't near Milford, you can also find it at a few other shops in the Granite State.

Find the ice cream at the Dessert Bar inside Barley & Hops, at 614 Nashua St., Milford, NH 03055. For more information about the ice cream and a list of shops where you can find it, check out Chris' Wicked Ice Cream's website. Happy scooping!
