Head to Water Wheel in Arizona to embark on a hike that leads to a mystical staircase resembling a scene from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. The trail at Water Wheel in Arizona is one of the best you can take in the state!

All that stands between you and the staircase is a 1.1-mile hike. There's no marked trail and you'll have to climb several rocks along the way, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes.

Lush, green foliage lines the entire route, providing hikers with breathtaking views before even reaching the main attraction. This would be a perfect spot to stop and take some deep breaths while basking in the stillness.

You'll soon come upon an old-fashioned water wheel that once powered the falls. Nature is slowly beginning to reclaim it, so get a firsthand look while you still can!

As the hike comes to an end, twin falls converge before spilling into a large pool below. Truly a breathtaking sight - especially when the red rocks are illuminated by an Arizona sunset, casting a spotlight on the cascading stream.
