Established in 2013, Pandamonium Doughnuts in Champaign serves up pastries that will leave you absolutely flabergasted. It recently opened a brand new storefront at the Windsor Galleria, and you have to check it out.
Like any good donut shop, you have to get in early. Hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. (though Sundays open an hour later). The day begins with a plethora of donuts on display, but you may miss out on your favorite if you don't act fast.
This bake shop is known for making its creations entirely from scratch. Bakers use high-quality fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and organic when possible.
The artisanal, handmade donuts feature innovative flavors. Shop owners aim to update the donut you find at the grocery or gas station into a creative treat you'll crave for weeks.
Though temporarily closed due to the opening of the stand-alone shop, Pandamonium Doughnuts also operates a food truck in the Champaign-Urbana area. Check out their website for times and locations for future service.
Typically, the food truck operates from 7:30 a.m. until Noon and can be found at Goodwin Avenue and Oregon Street Wednesday through Friday.
