I have to admit, we all have things here in Georgia that we probably take for granted, such as our great weather, the amazing forests and parks, and how lucky we are to have some of the best collegiate football games of the season take place right here in our state. Just in case you forgot, here are 10 amazing things you probably cannot live without:
We're quite spoiled when it comes to great weather. The weather in Georgia is practically perfect 75% of the time. Yes, its been raining quite a bit lately here in Georgia, but we still have pretty great weather for it to be just a week before Thanksgiving!
Another thing we're spoiled with are all the beautiful trees we have here in Georgia. The funny thing is that we don't even notice how green Georgia is until we visit another tree-less state.
Beautiful nature scenes like the one pictured above run abound in our great state. You're guaranteed to have an amazing time when you can get outside and experience the nature wonderland that is Georgia.
Here in Georgia we're really family oriented. All of our holidays and celebrations are centered around our family and our best friends are our cousins. We can't live without being close to our family!
If you're one to walk around with a frown, people will notice really quickly. We're pretty used to greeting everyone we meet with a friendly smile and those that don't stick out like a sore thumb!
Hunting season is a really big sport in Georgia, especially in south Georgia. Hunting season just recently started so I know that many of you are already out there!
Of course we can't live without our delicious home cooked southern food. Now that Thanksgiving is next week, we all get to partake in some of the best southern food in the country.
Camping and hiking is a favorite past time for Georgia residents, especially in the fall. With all of our beautiful state parks, rivers, and lakes, it's no wonder that we love to camp and hike.
Last but certainly not least, we love football and especially collegiate football. It's even more fun when our rivals Auburn and Alabama come over and play Georgia. Those are a few games Georgia fans are sure not to miss!
