You Need a Car to Go Anywhere...
Unless you live directly in the city of Atlanta you will need a car to get around. Georgia is known for its sprawling suburbs and country roads. If you think you'll be able to depend on public transportation to get around, you're in for a rude awakening!

If you order tea with your meal you can be assured that it will be sweet! We love our sweet tea extra sweet too so don't say I didn't warn you!
Tolerance for Hot Weather
It's no surprise--it get's hot in Georgia! A hot Georgia summer can take you by surprise if you're not used to the temperatures specifically because Georgia heat is more humid and heavy than heat out west or up north.
If you've never had issues with allergies before, you may have some here in Georgia! Our pollen season is something serious here with a think yellow cloud covering everything in sight during the months of March and April.
