The Iwo Jima Memorial is located across the river in Arlington. Not only is the memorial itself absolutely stunning, it offers views of the Potomac, the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and the Capitol Building from afar.
The Air Force Memorial is another memorial located in Arlington. It’s slightly elevated so you can look right across the Potomac for a beautiful panoramic view of Washington DC.

Lady Bird Johnson Park is gorgeous park on a small piece of land off the Potomac River. It is home to Lyndon B. Johnson Memorial grove and offers visitors a great view of DC in the distance.
