Having a neighbor in Wyoming is the best thing ever. When you live next to someone out here, you're more than willing to help them out when it's needed. Mending fences, shoveling walkways? Sure thing! But you won't find any nosy neighbors out here starting drama — we really know how to keep to ourselves.
You won't find any pushovers out here. We do things our own way, and we're stubborn enough to stand up for our beliefs no matter what.

A day off is a funny concept, especially to ranchers and Wyomingites with bigger properties. But that's okay, that's why we live out here. There's nothing wrong with a little hard work... it builds character.

I don't really trust anyone who doesn't have a dog. Luckily, Wyoming is full of animal people. You won't find many tiny, yappy chihuahuas out here (because they'd blow away), but chances are you'll meet the most loyal mutts and working dogs you've ever met. Plus, we treat our horses, our cattle, and our other animals like members of the family.

There are pullouts around every corner in the mountains. Sure, lots of them are used for changing tires and putting on snow chains, but it's common to see a Wyomginite just enjoying the view. We know we live in the prettiest state in the country, and we don't take that for granted.
We make our own snacks out here. If you ever see someone trying to convince you that store bought jerky is tasty, run.
No, a fifteen-minute hike to Hidden Falls at Jenny Lake isn't really an adventure. Pair up with a true Wyomingite and spend a week on the Teton Crest Trail or backpacking through the Absaroka Mountains if you really want to know what adventure feels like. This is what we live for.
