A drone in Wyoming captured something truly amazing. In fact, it gives us a whole new perspective on this impressive geologic phenomenon that occurred in Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains where the earth just opened up and swallowed itself.
This massive crack just appeared out of nowhere over a timespan of about 2 weeks on a ranch in the Bighorn Mountains. It's amazing to see how the earth can change so suddenly and dramatically in no time at all.
It wasn't a clean break by any means. There are many different levels and the crack is stories deep in places. Looking down from above, you can really tell how deep of a crack it really is.

Wyoming is certainly no stranger to unusual landscapes but the enormity of this gash has really left Wyomingites in awe. There has been some speculation that the gash was formed by a slow-moving landslide.
Hunting guides were the ones who stumbled across this crack that is located near Ten Sleep in north central Wyoming.
