If you’re not from Wyoming, you might be surprised to learn that there is more than one ski resort in the state.
While Jackson Hole is world-renowned for the epic skiing the Grand Tetons offer, the Cowboy State is filled with exquisite mountain ranges that provide a thrilling skiing experience. The often overlooked ski resort in Pinedale is just one example. Visit White Pine just once, and you might have such a sensational time skiing the heavenly Wind River Mountains you’ll make it an annual tradition.

You'll find the enchanting ski resort at 74 White Pine Road, about 11 miles northeast of Pinedale, Wyoming.

White Pine originally opened in January 1940, featuring one of the first cable tows in Wyoming that was powered by a Chevrolet motor.

The Great Spirit Lift will take you all the way to Summit Peak with an elevation of 9,500.

The cabins are close to the ski lifts — just a short walk away. They're well appointed, too, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer in each one, and wrap-around decks that provide stunning views.
