The Unspoiled Splendor Of This Wyoming Wildnerness Area Is Almost Too Beautiful To Be Believed

There’s a lot of wilderness in Wyoming, and it’s all spectacular. If you want to visit a spot that is especially unspoiled, however, we’d have to recommend the Gros Ventre Wilderness.

Considered part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, this part of western Wyoming could be considered a little Eden. It’s home to river headwaters, and many species of wildlife live there, too. Unless you see it for yourself, it can be hard to believe that the Gros Ventre Wilderness is as splendid as it really is.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:
