The small town of Big Horn, Wyoming, is known mostly for its history, its high school football team, and (oddly enough) its polo club. The Bozeman Trail museum in town recounts some of the history of the West’s most dangerous journey, and the Big Horn Historical Society is a great source to find photos of the early history of Wyoming. Since the early 1880s, Big Horn was also a dining destination for travelers through the frontier, thanks to what was once known as the Last Chance Saloon. Now, the historic building is home to the best smokehouse in Wyoming — Big Horn Saloon.
