Wyoming has a low poverty rate compared to the rest of the states in the nation. They are ranked 46/50 with a poverty level of 9.70%. There are several different ways to measure the poorest cities in a state but for the purpose of this article, we based it on median household income. Wyoming’s average household income throughout the state is around $56,000. The following 10 towns are the poorest in the state. Census designated areas were not included, only towns or cities.
