The One Town In Wyoming That Turns Into A Winter Wonderland Each Year
We love winter in Wyoming. Sure, it’s cold. But it’s also simply stunning. While there are many beautiful spots throughout the state, this one town turns into a winter wonderland every year.
Jackson is snuggled into the Jackson Hole Valley between the Teton Mountain Range and the Gros Ventre Range. With a population of just under 10,000 residents, it's a small town with a lot of community pride.
Every year Jackson kicks off the holiday season with the Town Square Lighting event.
The famous antler arches are wrapped with over 2,000 sparkling lights for this event, which takes place the day after Thanksgiving.
Holiday music, carolers, hot cocoa and cookies make this town lighting a true celebration.
Residents and visitors of all ages love the holiday spirit at the town square.
Jackson's town square really is the heart of this little community, and holiday events are held throughout the year here.
Sure, Jackson is gorgeous at night...
But it's also magical during the day, too.
Get in the holiday spirit with a sleigh ride.
You might see some wildlife!
Wyomingites love playing in the snow, so for many of us, this view is the best ever.

And we don't have to remind you about the skiing here.
