The Iconic Roadhouse In Wyoming Everyone Should Experience Once
What do you think of when you hear the word “roadhouse”? How about a tavern that serves beer, liquor and food, along with musical entertainment and dancing? Here’s an iconic roadhouse in Wyoming everyone should experience at least once but I bet you’ll be going back for more.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. Cassie's is known as "the place to dine and dance". A favorite among locals, this iconic roadhouse is located at 214 Yellowstone Avenue in Cody.

Cassie's was founded by a young widow, Cassie Waters, in 1922. In 1995, it was bought and renovated and is now run by Steve and Mel Singer and family.

The restaurant offers 3 levels of non-smoking dining areas. Within the confines of the dining area, you'll find some of the best food in the west.

There are also 3 bars for your enjoyment. At any 1 of the 3, you can sit back, relax and enjoy some western spirits

Friday and Saturday nights are really when the place comes to life. They offer live music where you can get out on the dance floor for some boot-stomping fun.

Food is served from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. On Sundays, you can enjoy a brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Remember, brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch. Why not get the fried chicken and waffles with sausage gravy?

Cassie's is also known as Wyoming's Best Steak House of the West by the Travel Channel. Also, the Cowboys & Indians magazine November 1999 issue voted Cassie's as "One Of The Top 20 Steakhouses In The West".

Calamari anyone? Their calamari is some of the best around. The tumbleweed sauce is the icing on the cake.

Speaking of cake, be sure to save room for dessert. Granny's Homemade Carrot Cake will have you coming back for more.
