These Fireworks Displays In Wyoming Will Drop Your Jaw
Fourth of July is a magical night in Wyoming. It’s one of the best states to watch the fireworks because everywhere you look, the views are unobstructed. You will want to spend the Fourth checking out one of these amazing fireworks displays. Please note that dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.
If you're in the Jackson Hole area on the Fourth, you will definitely want to participate in their patriotic events. The day starts off with a JH Lions Club 4th of July Breakfast on Center Street from 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and travels down Snow King Avenue to Glenwood, turns on Broadway and ends on Willow Street. Later in the day at 6:00 p.m. there is a Town Square Shootout, followed by the Jackson Hole Rodeo at the Teton County Fairgrounds. At 10:00 p.m., you can enjoy fireworks at the base of Snow King Mountain in the Town of Jackson or at the base of the Tetons in Teton Village.
Casper claims to have the "biggest show in the sky." The Fireworks Festival 2016 will be held Monday, July 4th on the grounds of the Casper Events Center. The festival includes vendors, fun, food, Budweiser Beer Garden and live music from EazySide and Shallow Side. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the fireworks start at 10:00 p.m.
Lander knows how to celebrate the 4th! The day starts off with the Challenge For Charities Half Marathon, 5K and 1M Youth Run. The half marathon starts at 6 a.m. and the 5k begins at 7 a.m. Also that morning is a Senior Center Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. at 205 S. 10th Street. Following at 10 a.m. is the Pioneer Days Parade which runs along Main Street. The Rotary Club's Annual Buffalo BBQ runs from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Lander City Park. The Pioneer Days Rodeo is both on July 3-4th at 6:30 p.m. The beautiful display of fireworks follows the rodeo.
Gillette knows how to party on the 4th! The celebration starts with a Volunteer Fireman Pancake Feed from 6 a.m.-9 a.m. at 106 Rohan Avenue. The Gillette Physical Therapy 4-Mile Run begins at 7:15 a.m. at the Bicentennial Soccer Fields, followed by the parade at 10 a.m. From 12-2 p.m. at Bicentennial Park, you can enjoy a free Hot Dog Feed, kids games, home run derby, firemen water fights and a live DJ. End the celebration at 10 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display at Cam-Plex.
Another great place to celebrate the 4th of July is at the Big Horn Equestrian Center. The fireworks here are a little bit different because they are choreographed to music that can be listened to on the radio. Gates open at 4 p.m. for the Fireworks Extravaganza. You can also enjoy live music, drinks and food. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.
Cheyenne Frontier Days and the City of Cheyenne will host the annual Fourth of July celebration. There will be free live entertainment and fireworks at Frontier Park Arena. The Country Club Band plays at 6 p.m. and Michael Martin Murphy plays at 8 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:35 p.m.
