If You Love Camping, Don’t Miss This Epic Campground In Wyoming
Those who love Wyoming know that perhaps the best way to truly appreciate her beauty is by spending a night under the stars. While camping may not be for everyone, it seems to be an especially popular activity in this state, which boasts some of the most beautiful recreation areas in all the land. So if you do happen to love camping, you’ll want to check out Lizard Creek Campground soon. Not only does its proximity to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons make for the ideal location, but the site itself is simply breathtaking.

The picturesque Lizard Creek campground can be found in the northern section of Grand Teton National Park, just 30 miles outside of Moose. With gorgeous views of Jackson Lake, it would be difficult to find a more visually stunning site to pitch your tent.

Lizard Creek can accommodate 60 sites which reside among firs and spruces. The campground itself is less developed than others in the area, which offers campers the experience of an authentic night outdoors.

You can expect the important ammenities such as toilets, drinking water, and of course, bear boxes.

While this spot is certainly popular, it won't be quite as packed as some of the other spots in the same park. Sites typically cost about $24 per night, and firewood will be an additional $6. The sites are also first come first serve, so it'll be best to try your luck in the mornings.

This serene campground offers plenty of activities, including hiking, fishing, and swimming. Just a few steps away, campers will find a rocky beach with incredible views of the Tetons. What most people enjoy most about this site is the location. It happens to be between two of the most popular National Parks in the state, yet still remains something of an oasis.
