The best way to explore Wyoming’s natural beauty is by lacing up your hiking boots and getting out on a trail. You don’t have to be a hard-core hiker to enjoy nature; there are plenty of trails that are easy enough for just about everyone. There’s a popular trail in Yellowstone National Park that’s super short, and so easy that you might just convince the non-hiker in your life to get out there a little more often.
For a short, easy hike with views of Yellowstone's most impressive waterfall, head to the Canyon Area of the park.
This stunning canyon looks like something right out of a fairytale. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone really does take your breath away. You'll feel very small in comparison to this 1,000-foot-deep canyon.
If you feel like exploring this area more, continue on to Point Sublime. It's just over 2.5 miles, out and back. Though this path isn't completely paved, it is fairly level and considered easy.
Point Sublime is another magnificent overlook that's photo-worthy, and you'll want to spend some time gazing out over the vast canyon before moving on.
Because this trail is located in Yellowstone National Park, you certainly won't have it to yourself, but in later autumn months it's a lot less crowded.
Have you hiked the Artist Point Trail in Yellowstone? We’d love to hear about your experience!
