This article is just to have a little fun with our tourists. We love our tourists, well, most of the time. Some tourists understand the essence of Wyomingites and some fall for our tourist traps. Here are 12 ways to spot a tourist dead on.

1. They're having their picture taken under the antler arch.

2. They don't get the whole Colorado/Wyoming rivalry deal.

3. They don't have a clue what a Jackalope is.

4. They're trying to take a selfie with a herd of elk.

5. They want to know where the nearest mall is.

6. They've run out of gas between cities.

7. They're riding a stagecoach around the Jackson Hole Town Square.

8. They think Jackson Hole is the best part of Wyoming.

9. They think a Greenie is a dog treat.

10. They think you want them to take up residence here to enhance the population.

11. They're wearing heels.

12. They're buying a stuffed bison.....probably from Jackson Hole but maybe from Yellowstone.
