There’s A 7-Acre Sunflower Maze In Wisconsin That’s Just As Magnificent As It Sounds

Fall is one of my favorite times of year because we here in Wisconsin take advantage of the last bit of tolerable weather by getting outside as much as possible. There’s tons to do on farms where you pick pumpkins and so much more. It’s such a fun, free-spirited feeling. But what if I told you that you didn’t have to wait for September or October to have that kind of fun? Leatherberry Farms is an awesome place that invites you onto their land to explore and have fun. And they don’t make you wait until fall. Starting today, their magical sunflower maze opens up for a limited time to let you wander and be transported to a fairyland where you’re dwarfed by soaring, gorgeous flowers.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Leatherberry Acres is located at S4067 Co Rd A, Baraboo, WI 53913.

The sunflower maze has a short season. They’re opening it up today and it only stays open until the sunflowers dry up. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can learn more about all the awesome things you can do at this farm by visiting their website or check out their Facebook page.
