Have The Romantic Meal Of A Lifetime At This Converted Farmhouse Restaurant In Wisconsin
It’s that time of year where we start thinking about ways to show our partners we love them. Even if you’re not a Valentine devotee, February is still a great time to plan a date. The winter blues are here hardcore and we’re all a little stir crazy, sick of the snow and cold and not exactly feeling our best. Setting a date with the one you love is one way to break out of the doldrums, shake off the winter funk and rekindle a little love for each other. One of the very best places to do that is at Wickman House in Ellison Bay. This charming farmhouse dates to 1872 and has enjoyed many different lives as an eatery and bed and breakfast. Today, Wickman House (named for the original owner of the property) has returned to its farm roots with a stellar restaurant sourced not just from local farms, but from the garden plot right on site. It’s a fabulous homage to the history of the location and makes for one of the coziest, most delicious dining experiences in Wisconsin.
Wickman House is located at 11976 Mink River Rd., Ellison Bay, WI 54210. Find out more about this gorgeous spot on their website or by checking out their Facebook page.
