We’re lucky to have them manufacturing right here in Wisconsin and you’re going to want to take advantage. Mayana offers truffles, candy bars and more that you can find at all kinds of places all over Wisconsin.
Mayana Chocolate is run by husband and wife team Daniel and Tamara Herskovic, and it's all hands-on. They have a small handful of employees, but for the most part this is a two-man operation. From tempering chocolate down to packaging the goods, everything here is done by hand.
These chocolates have won all kinds of accolades, from Good Food Awards to nods from Food and Wine, Epicurious, AFAR and more. These aren't your mama's chocolate bars. These are hand-crafted, hand-wrapped bits of joy.
Everything these guys do is well-thought out, intricate, delicious and done by hand with really the very best ingredients you can find. The chocolate here is high percentage and tempered to perfection. The fleur de sel caramel is slow-cooked and incredibly flavorful. Basically, these are the candy bars that will ruin you for all other candy bars.
You don't get into chocolate without knowing a bit about pastry, so make sure you find these guys at the Spooner Farmers Market when they're there. The croissants are as good as they look.
Mayana's Space Bar features vanilla-bean nougat, toasted almonds, fleur de sel caramel and a 66% custom blend of dark chocolate to let you get away from it all.
The Coconut Dream Bar is one that various different sources have called life-changing. Crispy Coconut Cookie, Salted Caramel, Creamy Coconut with 66% Dark Chocolate.
These mini bars are brand new, but already have a loyal following. And the truffles have some of the most potent flavors you've ever found in a tiny bite of chocolate. From the Mayan Spice to the Passionfruit and everything in between, the chocolate here is the kind you might actually think about dying for.
They also work with local restaurants to create amazing plated desserts. You can have them at your wedding or event, as well. Basically, if it's sweet and delicious, these guys are on the case.
