One of the largest kite shows in the midwest takes place in Two Rivers every year and it’s really something you don’t want to miss out on.
On September 2 and 3 along the shores of Lake Michigan, this giant festival will have a night fly, stunt demonstrations, fireworks, a lantern release and so much more.
There's no admission and this awesome two-day festival takes place right on the beach at Neshotah Park.
The festival tentatively runs from 11 am to 4 pm each day, with the kids kite making at 9 am on Sunday and the concert and fireworks in the evening on Saturday.
The rest of the festival is as awesome as you make it - let your flights of fancy go, let your imagination take flight, leave it to the breeze and just enjoy the last weekend of summer.
You never know what types of kites will take to the air at Kites Over Lake Michigan, but you know you'll see an aerial ballet of the wackiest, most interesting kites around.
