View Fall Hues From Above On These 7 Wisconsin Observation Towers
Wisconsin’s foliage is beautiful from any angle. However, there’s no denying that it’s especially stunning when viewed from above. Luckily, we have several observation towers here in Wisconsin where you can do just. Read on for seven of our favorites.

Offering views that reach far and wide, this 45-foot tower sits atop the highest point in Waukesha County. From the tower, you’ll be treated to incredible vistas of the surrounding Kettle Moraine State Forest as well as Lake County.

Enjoy sweeping views atop this tower, which is located on Powder Hill, the 2nd highest point in the southeastern portion of the state.

Another Kettle Moraine State Forest must-visit, Parnell Tower stands at 60 feet, resulting in widespread views of the surrounding forest…and foliage. The tower is situated along a hiking trail, so you can spend some time exploring the area either before or after you soak in the vistas from atop the tower.

Encompassing 185 acres, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors. In addition to six miles of hiking trails, the property features a 60-foot observation tower, which provides breathtaking views of the surrounding woodlands as well as nearby Lake Michigan.

This park has not one, but two, observation towers, where you can soak up some seasonal views and hues. No matter which of the 40-foot towers you visit, you’ll be treated to vistas of Baraboo Hills as well as the Lower Wisconsin Riverway.

Hoffman Hills is a popular spot for leaf-peeping. Luckily, you can easily take in the bold foliage from atop the recreation area’s 60-foot tower. A great place for a day of outdoor fun, the park also features a variety of trails, which make it easy to explore the surrounding hills, prairie, and wetlands.

What better location for an observation tower than the state’s highest point?! Well, that’s exactly what you’ll find at this park, which is home to Timm’s Hill. Standing 1,951 feet above sea level, it’s the highest point in Wisconsin…and one of the best places for seasonal views.
