When we’re feeling extra snarky, we like to point out that Wisconsin actually have more lakes than our neighbor to the west that claims its 10,000 like it’s impressive or something. In actuality, Wisconsin’s abundance of lakes is one of the reasons that people originally settled here and one of our greatest assets. In Madison, the Frozen Assets Festival run by the Clean Lakes Alliance (coming up on February 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2018) is a celebration of Wisconsin’s amazing lakes that takes almost entirely on frozen Lake Mendota.

For more information about the Frozen Assets festival, check out the Clean Lakes Alliance website here.

The Frozen Assets Festival will be held at the Edgewater Hotel, 1001 Wisconsin Place, Madison.
