Hiding in the tiny village of Argyle, it requires a bit of effort to get to, but it’s well worth it. Aptly named, The Toy Train Barn is housed in an actual barn that was once home to a herd of dairy cows.

It’s located 7.5 miles west of Monroe on Highway 81. Just look for the huge orange and gray barn – you can’t miss it.
A great visit for all ages, the museum now houses an incredible assortment of trains. The trains vary in size and age - some date back to the Depression era.
