  • Pebble Beach might just be the most unique beach in all of Wisconsin - because there is no sand there! Similar to the famous Schoolhouse Beach, the surface here is made entirely out of limestone. But unlike that beach, this one is rarely crowded thanks to its secluded location. The limestone rocks are smooth and perfect for skipping, but make sure not to take any - it's strictly prohibited to preserve this unique ecosystem.

When you sit down for a meal at this charming log-cabin restaurant, you can dig into Swedish pancakes and meatballs. Just don't be alarmed when you see something moving up on the roof - there are some goats that graze on the grass-covered roof.
  • The Sister Bay Bowl is another old-school dining institution in this popular vacation town, with the restaurant dating back to 1950 and predating most of the town's attractions. Today, the place is a hybrid of a supper club and six-lane bowling alley, and the unique restaurant specializes in Wisconsin comfort food like cheese curds and Wisconsin fish fry. Dig in before bowling a frame or two!
