We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you want to be anonymous, Whitefish Bay isn't for you. This is a town where people know one another and the police works with the community to keep everyone informed about proactive ways to be safe. You'll enjoy very attractive views of Lake Michigan as well as proximity to Milwaukee.

Oconomowoc is all about life on the water (and snow/ice when it freezes over!). People love the town and are invested in keeping crime and other malfeasance down.

One word to describe Port Washington is "pristine." Residents are determined to keep it that way, and so crime is not tolerated. The views in the town are stunning, too.

Because this small town is so invested in preserving the town's history and charm, crime is very low. If you love nature, there are several parks to explore as well as a walking program.

Cedarburg is unique because it is so close to Milwaukee, but the setting is the bucolic, rural setting you'd expect to find in Wisconsin. Community engagement is high, resulting in very low crime.

Though it boasts a population of 25,000, Muskego is relatively quiet crime-wise. Things are looking up, as the economy continues to boom. It is projected to continue to grow and so now's a good time to get in on the ground floor, so to speak.

Super low crime and an excellent school system--sounds like a great place to raise kids! Even sweeter is the fact that Waunakee is very close to Madison and all of its amenities.

At just over 7,000 residents, Mukwonago is a small town but with big amenities and an appreciation for its deep cultural history. For these reasons, residents tend to keep the peace and enjoy their beautiful parks.

Lake Mills authorities have taken proactive steps toward crime, working with the community to stop it before it happens. Crime is virtually non-existent. Live off of beautiful Rock Lake and enjoy beaches and fishing piers.

This town is by no means small at 35,000 residents, but for its size, crime is very low. Murders are extremely rare, and violent crime is low. A waterfall is located at the heart of the community.
