Enjoy Homemade Pasties Along With A Quirky Rock Collection At Rocks For Fun Cafe In Wisconsin

Rocks and pasties are two things you wouldn’t normally associate with one another, but it turns out they make a great combo. And if you need convincing, just visit Rocks For Fun Café. Truly one-of-a-kind, the café, which serves only pasties, houses countless rocks that have been transformed into wacky sculptures. Take a look:

A remote roadside eatery, Rocks For Fun Café is located on Route 45 in Tigerton, a tiny village in Shawano County.

Just as the sign says, the café only sells one item – pasties. Of course, they do come in over 40 varieties!

Not your typical pasties, the pasties at Rocks For Fun Café feature a unique crust and have come to be known as Rockin-Pockets.

Stuffed with about 21 spices along with a variety of meats, veggies, cheeses, and just about anything else you can think of, it’s not surprising that customers rave about the café’s signature creation, with many saying they’re better than pasties.

The cafe has several deep freezers stocked with 30 - 100 of each type of pasty, so you may stock up on your visit.

The single-item menu isn’t the café’s only quirky characteristic. There’s also its décor, which includes hundreds of wacky rock sculptures.

With the help of googly eyes, the rocks are transformed into a variety of quirky characters.

The only thing sillier than the rocky creations is the signage that accompanies them.

Luckily, owner Don McClellan, is on hand - and more than happy to tell you all about his unique rock collection. In addition to lots of info, you can expect silly jokes and plenty of puns.

Between the tasty pasties and wacky setting, a visit to Rocks For Fun Café is a real treat... in more ways than one!
