In addition to typical amenities, like picnic tables and campsites, the park is home to a huge 300’ rock formation. Even better, there are stairs, so you can climb to the top and soak up some stellar views. Take a look:

Not only is the towering rock formation the centerpiece of the park, but it also inspired the park’s name. Roche-A-Cri is French for “crevice in the rock.”

There’s an easily accessible trail, Top of the Rock Trail, which leads straight to the massive rock formation.

And remember, while dogs (on leashes) are allowed in the park, they aren’t allowed on the stairs. So, if you do bring your 4-legged friend, be prepared to forgo the trek to the top of the rock.
