The Wisconsin Museum Of Quilts And Fiber Arts Is Truly A Sight To See
Whether or not you’re a quilter, you can appreciate the handiwork that goes into making a quilt. The age-old craft is truly one to marvel over. Luckily, Wisconsin has a museum where you can do just that: the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts. Take a look:
Located in Cedarburg, the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts opened in 2011.
In the years since opening, the museum has made quite the splash, but not just with local crafters. USA Today named it one of the nation’s “best places to see amazing quilts.”
In addition to classes and special guests, the events include unique get-togethers, such as the Fiber Club. Held the 3rd Thursday of each month, the Fiber Club is for everyone – from those who need extra space to work on a project to anyone who’d simply like a second opinion from other crafters.
The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts is open Wednesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, call (262) 546-0300. You can also visit the museum’s website or Facebook page.
