Weston Aquatic Park Is A Fabulously Affordable Wisconsin Waterpark

We’ve told you about one of the most over-the-top, thrilling watercoasters in the country that’s right here in Wisconsin, but we know that kind of adrenaline rush isn’t for everyone. What if you’re the type of family looking to cool off, but not break the bank – or your neck? It turns out that a trip to the Dells isn’t the only way to cool off and have some fun in the sun and water. There are a number of local town pools for all kinds of family fun, and one of the very best is in the town of Weston about 12 miles southeast of Wausau.

This fabulous town aquatic center has everything you and your family could ever want or need for a fun day of cooling off and playing in the water. From a dip in the water to some time relaxing in the sun, you'll love kicking back and having a blast at this super reasonable, family-friendly spot.

This truly is a place where everyone can have a great time. There are zero-depth and shallow entry areas for the little ones, with a small slide and toys to entertain them.

There's a full lifeguard staff on duty here, so you can be sure that someone's got an eye on the water, making sure everyone is safe.

You can plan to spend the whole day here. There's a concession stand, plenty of chaises and chairs, plus a grassy area where you can spend some time away from the pool.

Plus, there's a whole sandy playground for your kids to enjoy when they need some time away from the water. They'll work up a sweat and then be able to head back to the pool to cool down. It's the perfect way to spend a day.

No matter what your family loves to do in the water, they can do it here. There are slides of all types, toys, waterfalls and more. It's an awesome spot that's very reasonably priced.

Admission for the whole day is just $4 for adults and $2 for children.

These folks stay open late, as well. The pool stays open until 7:45 pm and admission for everyone is just $2 after 6 pm. At that price, this can be a great place to end your day or work off some late-day energy before bedtime.

This place makes for a great reason to take a weekend trip, with the awesome fun of Wausau nearby along with Rib Mountain State Park, there's a ton of things to do in the area and the Weston Aquatic Center makes for a great break after a day of hiking and time out in the wilderness.
