With Over 200 Types Of Treats, Wisconsin’s Old Glory Candy Is What Sweet Dreams Are Made Of
Craving something sweet? If so, you’ve got to visit Old Glory Candy. Modeled after an old-fashioned candy store and stocked with more than 200 kinds of candy, a visit is as nostalgic as it is sweet. Take a look:
In the small town of Shawano, you’ll find one of the state’s sweetest shops, Old Glory Candy.
Set foot inside, and you’re sure to feel like a kid in a candy store – and that’s the point. When designing Old Glory Candy, the owners aimed to create a place where kids can be kids and adults can be kids again.
The perfect mix of past and present, the store carries 16 flavors of Jelly Bellies, along with lots of novelty candies, which are sure to bring up some feelings of nostalgia.
Old Glory Candy is open 7 days a week. Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (715) 526-3253. You can also visit the store’s website or Facebook page.
