Indulge Your Love For Literature And Wine At Ocooch Books And Libations In Wisconsin
There’s nothing like curling up with a good book AND a good glass of wine. The two pair together so well, yet you rarely find a place that sells both. Keep in mind, we said rarely. Turns out, we’ve got a great shop, Ocooch Books and Libations, here in Wisconsin that carries an impressive selection of books and booze. Take a look:
Located in the heart of downtown Richland Center, Ocooch Books and Libations is a one-of-a-kind small town find!
The independent bookstore has been a hit since opening in 2003 - and that can surely be attributed to its unique mix of inventory, which is about 60% books and 40% libations.
The selection of alcoholic beverages is just as impressive as the variety of books. In addition to about 60 types of specialty, hard-to-find, and local wines, the shop carries about a dozen different beers.
A unique merchandise mix isn’t the only thing that sets the bookstore apart from others, though. There’s also the charmingly historic building it’s housed in, which is over 100 years old and has hardwood floors and a tin ceiling.
Ocooch Books and Libations is open Monday – Thursday from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information, call (608) 647-8826.
This isn’t the state’s only must-visit bookstore. Read about another here.
