There are plenty of amazing places to live in Wisconsin. But we think that you should drop everything and move to Oconomowoc. Why? Well, it’s super fun to say (and super fun to see people from out of town struggle to pronounce). But mostly because it is an amazing place. It has routinely been named one of the most affordable places to live in Wisconsin. Furthermore, its proximity to Milwaukee makes it even more attractive. Here are 12 more reasons to move:

1. Oconomowoc is home to the stunning Oconomowoc Arts Gallery, a gallery with local art as well as art from around the country.

2. This popular market has all sorts of quality items, many of which you cannot find anywhere else.

3. The Pub provides an Irish pub experience, but you don't have to go to Ireland to get it. Slàinte!

4. Downtown Oconomowoc is a lot of fun to explore, with some really cool shops.

5. You can fly in a hot air balloon in Oconomowoc at Balloons Unlimited.

6. There might not be a more picturesque lake in Wisconsin than Fowler Lake. Check out that sunset.

7. It is home to U-Brew, a place that actually lets you brew your own beer.

8. While you are minutes away from Milwaukee, it is still the type of town where deer will wander in and out of your yard.

9. There is plenty in the way of festivals in the summer, making this place anything but boring.

10. Nashotah Park, a gorgeous park, rests right on the side of town.

11. Whether you want to laugh or cry, the NewTheatre provides a really awesome theatre experience without even having to leave town.
