Wisconsin is no stranger to lovely lighthouses. However, there’s one that seems to stand out above the rest – and it’s the Cana Island Lighthouse. Despite being one of several lighthouses in Door County, the Cana Island beacon remains the area’s most photographed lighthouse. And unlike many of the state’s lighthouses, the Cana Island Lighthouse is open to the public for tours. Take a look:

When operating under normal business hours, the Cana Island Lighthouse is open daily May 1st – October 31st, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information, call (920) 743-5958. You can also visit the Door County Maritime Museum website or the Cana Island Lighthouse Facebook page.

This isn’t the only picture-perfect place in Wisconsin. Read about others here.
