There’s a place in southeast Wisconsin where you can take a shopping trip to the next level. Seven Mile Fair is an epic shopping extravaganza that’s filled with bargains and surprises. The destination is an enormous flea market and so much more – there’s an area for kids, so even little ones with little interest in crafts and collectibles will have a blast. Put on your shopping shoes and get ready for a classic Wisconsin experience.
You’ll find this huge fair in southeast Wisconsin in Caledonia. Its located about 30 miles north of the Illinois border, and it’s just 10 minutes south of the Milwaukee airport, so it’s an easy outing for anyone in the Milwaukee or Chicago area.
The market first opened in 1961, and over the years it grew into an enormous shopping experience. Allow plenty of time to take in the fair; it has hundreds of vendors and they are spread across 40 acres!
The market has an indoor and an outdoor market – the market is open every weekend all year, although the outdoor market is just open from April-October.
So what can you find at the market? Just about everything. The vendors sell home and garden items, tools, car accessories, discounted electronics, cosmetics, name-brand merchandise, and more.
