It has to be common knowledge at this point that Milwaukee is a little weird. However, if you’re a newcomer, you might not expect to see such strange things scattered throughout our city. Whether it be a bronze statue of a T.V. character or an ungodly amount of Pabst Blue Ribbon, here are nine things you might be surprised to see while visiting Brew City.
That's right, we have a sausage race! During every Brewers game, these different Klements sausages race around the track, and you better believe each Milwaukeean has a favorite.
Milwaukeeans are generally pretty happy folks, but to prove it, we installed a bronze statue of The Fonz from the old TV show Happy Days on our River Walk. The Bronze Fonz is a beloved addition that will light up anyone's face (and provide endless photo-ops). Now that's not something you see every day. Ayy!
