These 7 Extremely Tiny Restaurants In Milwaukee Are Actually Amazing
Some buildings don’t look like a whole lot in Milwaukee, but you’d be surprised to find out just how many hold some of the greatest hidden food gems. Call ahead of time or nestle up closely; there might not be a lot of room, but these spots are well worth the wait. These seven restaurants don’t have a whole lot of tables, but they serve up some of the best food in Brew City.


Ono Kine Grindz is a fairly new Hawaiian restaurant in Wauwatosa. In fact, they're one of the greater Milwaukee area's only spots to serve up Hawaiian fare! David and Guy are two amazingly friendly owners who will have you feeling right at home. Despite the tiny space, you can always get your food to go!

You can't miss this cute little cafe that is bringing new life to National Avenue. They have a delicious artisan breakfast menu along with unique lunch options, and they serve Anodyne coffee and specialty espresso drinks. Their space is small, but so cute!

La Casa De Alberto is one of Milwaukees best spots for authentic Mexican food. This small family-owned spot is the friendliest. You won't be disappointed.

The Noble is an eclectic little spot on 2nd Street. This place is tiny but the food is out of this world. Make sure to check out their menu that changes daily on their Facebook page. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations, so be sure to get there early and enjoy a drink at the bar while waiting for a table (it's worth it.)

Rice N Roll on Milwaukee's east side is a small space with a huge menu. They have Thai food, a sushi bar, and other Asian fare. You'll be sure to get your sushi fill here!

One of Bay View's most famous spots is Honeypie! This little cafe makes amazing homemade pie, and their brunch is all the rave. Be sure to get there early if you're hungry, but this place is so worth the wait.

Bamboo is a tiny hole-in-the-wall Laotian and Thai restaurant in Milwaukee's Silver City area. Though it might not look like much from the outside, this friendly spot serves up amazing authentic dishes. Make sure to try the pho, which they tend to have a special on.
