12 Struggles Everyone In Milwaukee Can Relate To
Living in Milwaukee is full of fun and good times, but – like anywhere else – there are some struggles that come along with it. From traffic to the strange smells in the valley, there are a few things that make Milwaukeeans sigh to one another and say, “the struggle is real.” Here are twelve of the biggest struggles you can only relate to whilst living in Milwaukee.
Most of us love when it snows. Even if it's cold, it's one of the only good parts of winter! That being said, no one in Milwaukee has a good back after living here a few winters.
It doesn't even seem like there's a reason for it anymore, Milwaukee must just like to tear up streets...
...and yet, the potholes are endless. There's a good chance you have damaged your car on one!
Milwaukee is absolutely booming with restaurants. Whatever you're in the mood for, we have multiple wonderful choices. This can make date night exceedingly difficult.
Milwaukee is a coffee city and we're full of amazing roasters and cafes that serve local beans! There are way too many artisan coffee choices to choose from.
Because honestly, is that a friend worth keeping?
Though the smell of yeast when you drive through Miller Valley has calmed down, there's still a hint of it and all of your out-of-town friends will be confused and concerned. It's just beer.
Traffic in Milwaukee is terrible before a Packer game and during Summerfest... but the worst is near any pedal tavern. Many of us have ridden one at least once and made a fool out of ourselves, but we still despise them anyway. They are only fun when you're the one peddling!
No, we're just from Milwaukee... and we party better than you.
Why is this still an argument? It's a fact.
Have you even tried it though? There's no comparison.
A Milwaukeean will talk your ear off about why our city is the best, but it's probably better if we just show you. Despite any of the struggles, there's no other place we'd rather call home.
