Visitors from all over are beginning to see how unique Brew City really is, and why it’s one of the best places to be. There’s nothing like lake living. Being able to hop on over to the beach at any time is something we often take for granted, and being in the Midwest we don’t even have the extreme weather that "real" coasts have.
Being the birthplace of big names in beer like Miller, Schlitz, and Blatz has truly made us the brewing capital of the country. This rich history has affected our present day, too, and the beer culture here is amazing. Whether you’re going on a brewery tour, or hanging out at your local corner bar, it’s a much more rich experience than you can find anywhere else.

Milwaukee is known for its harsh winters, but that just means we appreciate warm weather so much more! This city comes to life in the summer, and there’s always a party going on.

Not only do we celebrate the warm weather, we throw a party for everything. Milwaukee is the "City of Festivals," and we have a festival for every culture imaginable. We’re home to some of the world’s largest ethnic festivals, and they’re all kicked off with awesome firework shows. There’s no better way to experience diverse cultures than to pack it into a huge celebration.
Our traditions can be a little weird, but we stick to them. There’s nowhere else in the world where you will find people so fanatical about foods like brats on the grill or frozen custard. We’ll argue these preferences to death, but you’ll fall in love with them too.
