As The Last Certified Underground Railroad Station In Wisconsin, Milton House Museum Offers A Unique Peek Into The Past
We’ve all heard of the Underground Railroad; however, not many of us have visited an Underground Railroad Station, but you can change that with a visit to Milton House. The historic structure was an actual stop on the Underground Railroad. Today, it’s a museum that allows visitors to walk the same route as freedom-seekers of years past.
For more information, call the Milton House at (608) 868-7772. You can also visit the museum’s website or Facebook page.
So, did you know about the Milton House Museum? Ever visited? If so, what’d you think?
This isn’t the only historic site that’ll transport you back in time. Read about another here.
