As The Last Certified Underground Railroad Station In Wisconsin, Milton House Museum Offers A Unique Peek Into The Past

We’ve all heard of the Underground Railroad; however, not many of us have visited an Underground Railroad Station, but you can change that with a visit to Milton House. The historic structure was an actual stop on the Underground Railroad. Today, it’s a museum that allows visitors to walk the same route as freedom-seekers of years past.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

For more information, call the Milton House at (608) 868-7772. You can also visit the museum’s website or Facebook page.
