The Burgers And Shakes From This Middle-Of-Nowhere Wisconsin Drive-In Are Worth The Trip

Ok, so “middle of nowhere” is maybe a little stretch, but in a state with a lot of drive ins, it’s not easy to find one that’s not right in a city. So Gus’s fits the bill. Besides, we’ll take any excuse to highlight this awesome spot. This seasonal spot is open from March to October, so by the time Gus’s opens, you’ll have been jonesing for their fabulous burgers and super shakes for more than a few months.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Address: 3131 Main Street, East Troy, WI, 53120.

Find out more about Gus’s, including the flavor of the day, on their website. Or head to their Facebook page for special event info.

Gus’s Drive In is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day from March through October. Saturdays you’ll find the coolest party in town with their Cruisin’ nights featuring Elvis impersonators and all the classic cars you can stand.

If you love drive ins, there are more than a dozen of them around the state you have to check out!
