You’ll find Odgen’s on the corner of North and Commercial Streets in Madison, a spot that one local paper called “the hippest corner in town.” The paper gave a lot of credit to Ogden’s.
The little cafe is located in a building that was a corner store long ago. For many years it was a small rental property, but it underwent a major transformation to become a cafe.
The original brick exterior remains but the interior of the restaurant was completely redone – it’s a tight space but they’ve fit many tables and retained a bright, airy, and stylish interior.
But people don’t come in droves for the atmosphere – they come for the food. The restaurant serves up a delicious breakfast and lunch menu that’s filled with the classics, including breakfast favorites like pancakes, hash browns, and French toast.
But whatever you do, order one of the cafe’s little pies. They are delicious and if you’re full from breakfast, they are a little treat you can take with you on the road.
