This great hiking beach is located in the Town of Bayview, roughly midway between the communities of Washburn and Bayfield, just off of Highway 13.

You can access the beach off of Bayview Park Road. Use caution on the dunes near the beach as they have poison ivy. Stay on the beach and in well traveled areas and you should be fine. Also consider using bug repellant, especially in the early summer when the biting flies are out.

There’s plenty of lakeshore to explore and it’s possible to hike over two miles if you walk up and down the beach.
