The eatery’s menu is brimming with house-made sausage – but that’s only part of what makes it a must-visit. The other part is the variety of creative toppings used to dress the sausage. Take a look:
This is Vanguard. You’ll find it in the heart of downtown Bayview in Milwaukee.
But don’t be misled by the term “elevated.” Great care has been taken to ensure the environment remains casual – a nod to Milwaukee’s classic corner bar atmosphere.
As you peruse the menu, you’ll find everything from familiar favorites, like the Chicago sausage, to adventurous culinary creations, such as the Duck BLT.
