The Plates Are Piled High With Fried Fish At The Delicious Clifford’s Supper Club In Wisconsin
If you love a great dining experience and delicious food, it’s hard to get enough of a classic Wisconsin fish fry. But at one special restaurant near Milwaukee, the fish is delicious, the plates are loaded, and the fish keeps coming and coming. Welcome to Clifford’s Supper Club in Hales Corners, a classic Wisconsin establishment that ensures no customer leaves hungry. Here’s what you need to know about a night out at Clifford’s.
Clifford’s Supper Club was established in 1959 by restauranteur Clifford Schill – he opened four different locations in southeast Wisconsin.
In 1988, Steve and Elaine Cannistra purchased the Hales Corners Clifford’s Supper Club from Shill – they continued the restaurant’s tradition for great food and they’ve maintained all of the establishment’s supper club charm.
The restaurant has a lot of great items on the menu, but it’s famous for its fish fry. Clifford's serves Icelandic cod, hand breaded and served with house-made tartar sauce and coleslaw, as well as delicious rye bread and rolls.
On these all-you-can-eat Fridays, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken fingers are also available a separate order for the non-fish eaters. But if you like fish, you’ll want to try the fry!
Clifford’s Supper Club is open daily. To see the current hours, the menu and fish fry details, visit the restaurant’s website. If you love a good fish fry, here are some more classic Wisconsin fish fry joints.
