In the Fox Valley around Appleton there’s a family-owned bakery that’s been serving the folks in the area since 1934. Now in their third generation of ownership, the Manderfields bring the very best in bread, cakes, cookies and more to Appleton and Menasha.
Way back in 1934, Frank and Marie Manderfield opened their first bakery in Appleton. Their son Dennis had his own bakery for a while and then reintroduced Manderfields to the area in 1979.
Since then, the entire Manderfield family, including a whole new generation, have been involved in the business. You can taste the tradition and history in every bit of delicious baked goods from Manderfields.
My absolute favorite part about this place is how they combine the simple, time-honored traditions of the past with the updated technology and demands of the present.
With a new state-of-the-art bread bakeshop, some of the most interesting and beautiful cakes you'll find anywhere and a wide variety of baked goods, it's easy to see how Manderfields has stood the test of time.
You never quite know what you'll find when you head into a Manderfields location. You can special order cakes or tortes that are as gorgeous outside as they are inside.
Longtime members of the Wisconsin Bakers Association, they've got an in on providing cream puffs nearly as scrumptious as the one's the WBA sells as the State Fair.
There's something for everyone and you'll never regret a trip to Manderfields. There's something extra sweet about supporting this family-owned business that's been in Wisconsin for generations and makes everything from scratch.
There are three Manderfields locations in the Fox Valley. Their original building is in Menasha at 811 Plank Road. The Appleton East store is located at W3176 Springfield Drive, Appleton, WI 54915 and the Appleton West store is at 5100 W. Michaels Drive, Appleton, WI 54913.
All three locations are open 5:30 am until 6 pm Monday through Friday and 5:30 am until 4 pm on Saturday. Manderfields is closed on Sundays.
